The Pinnacles Desert is known as the limestone pillars which rise out of the sand and make it become one of the most unique natural attraction in Western Australia. This interesting place is just 3 hours drive North of Perth along the coast and it is very easy to access. Make it a 2 days 1 night trip and stop by in Guilderton for the view of the meet point of river and sea, Lancelin for sand surfing and Cervantes for the famous lobster meal!

This national park is a very popular attractions, I had been there twice, one at daytime and one for sunset and night sky. Keep in mind that you can still visit there after the park closed but no camping and overnight there. The desert seems like endless but it is only small part of it open for people to visit, so it will not take long. Since the drive is along the coastline, many small towns like Two Rocks, Guilderton, ledge point, Lancelin along the way are worth to spend some time for the stunning sea view. The sand dunes in Lancelin is really amazing and we had so much fun in sand surfing!
